The last few days have been a challenge. Bouts of Macro ratioshypoglycemia, eating too much, and eating the wrong things. The other day, I had some Ruffles. The cravings got to me and I caved. At least I didn’t also get the Peanut m&m’s I also wanted. I about a third of the bag and that actually seemed to help with the cravings for the moment. I had eaten about 900 calories more than I wanted to, almost three times the carbs, twice the fat and just a tad over the protein goal. But the ratios were good. The next day, I finished off the bag of chips (I had forgotten to toss them the night before). The wife and I went to a movie and had dinner there as well. I had this massive chef salad with Ken’s Steakhouse Honey Mustard dressing. Plenty of sugar there. I also had an appetizer of two mozzarella sticks, two chicken tenders, and onion rings. Plenty of sugar in the breading, plus the wheat. I couldn’t even record it all, because I didn’t know how much what I ate had what in it. Needless to say, I went way over in everything. Felt kinda lousy later and really didn’t want a full breakfast the next morning (today). Today, I was under in the protein goal, stayed under in carbs, went over in fat and was good on calories. The macro ratios were pretty much spot on, though. Not that those ratios are the golden ring. My protein goals are 150g a day. Seems like a lot to me. Still need to get this dialed in.
